We want to extend a sincere thank you to Danielle Brimblecom for serving as committee chair of the Friends of Football Committee over the past couple of years. And thank you to all of the volunteers who made this committee a success.Danielle has decided to step down from her role, and we wish her well in her future endeavors.
As our fiscal year comes to a close, we are carrying out the Board’s decision, as voted on during the April meeting, to transfer the remaining assets to Bellwether Credit Union. All funds raised for our football athletes are available for use. This information was relayed to Danielle several days ago.
All BBABC bank accounts are owned, controlled and overseen by the BBABC. Notably, as required by the IRS, these accounts have an assigned EIN and are subject to charitable rules and regulations.
For clarification, Friends of Football has been a committee since its inception. Committees operate under the BBABC governing authority, and are subject to all BBABC rules and regulations pursuant to BBABC by laws.
