To All Members, Supporters, Donors, Volunteers, and Students:
Several coaches and parents have reached out to us regarding the school’s recent shift toward mandating student-involved fundraising into school-controlled student activity accounts.
As an independent 501(c)(3) organization, we remain committed to supporting our teams while maintaining full fiduciary control over privately raised charitable funds. Many have expressed interest in exploring ways for parents and coaches to participate more directly in managing team-specific collections and donations, particularly for activities occurring outside of school hours, off school grounds, or not during the regular school day.
New Hampshire law generally limits school authority over students to the school day, school property, and school-sponsored events or activities. Independent parent- or coach-led efforts for off-campus or non-school-time team support fall outside this scope, allowing greater flexibility for direct involvement.
To facilitate this, we are open to helping interested parents and coaches form team-specific committees or sub-groups under our organization’s umbrella. This could enable direct management of donations and expenditures for your team’s needs, consistent with our charitable status and legal requirements. Any parent or coach wishing to pursue this option should reach out to us immediately so we can discuss details, provide guidance, and move forward promptly.
We appreciate the passion and dedication everyone brings to supporting our students and teams. Thank you for your continued understanding and support.
